Set New Name

Type a name and every selected item is renamed to it. A number is added automatically (e.g. Sunset_0001) so names stay unique. Tokens like [name], [parent], [created] work too. Leave blank to keep existing names. Use the Rename Files / Rename Folders tabs to choose what gets renamed.

Options

Files are numbered in the order shown — use the Sort by control above the preview to change it. Untick a file in the preview to leave it untouched.

Finder Tags

Set macOS Finder tags for all files. Edit a single file's tags in the preview (it gets marked, with a reset).

Finder Color Label

Set a Finder color label for all files. Click a swatch in the preview to override a single file.

Finder Comment

Set the Spotlight / Finder comment for all files. Tokens supported. Override any file on the right. First use asks macOS to allow controlling Finder.

Find & Replace

Invalid regular expression.

RegEx mode: Find is a JS pattern (e.g. ^IMG_\d+). Use $1, $2 in Replace With for capture groups.
